Custom Futon Mattresses

We specialize in creating customized futon mattresses for our customers. This means we can also customize the thickness and the composition of the cushion for you...all foam, all cotton, and more combinations than you can imagine! All futon style are tufted/laced to ensure that the materials all stay in place and do not shift (think of the tucks on a quilt to keep the filling in place). All futons will compress. Please note that any futon mattress over 90" long must be all cotton or it must be split in at least 2 pieces. (Foam cannot be produced in lengths greater than 90")

All futons standardly come with a natural off-white covering that cannot be removed. Should you prefer this covering to be black, navy, hunter green or burgundy, there is an upcharge of $15.

You can choose from the styles listed below or let us create a custom construction to your specifications. Prices will vary with size, thickness and shape. Call or email us for a price quote...let us know the dimensions of your desired cushion including the thickness (to the nearest whole inch), how you are going to be using the cushion, preferred materials and preferred feel (soft, firm, extra firm, etc.).

Block Foam can be used for cushions in any size, width, length or shape. We use a very dense, firm block foam to ensure a durable cushion. These cushions are offered in 2", 4" or 6" thicknesses. The block foam units are not tufted or laced. We can add a dense polyester wrap to the block foam units if a softer surface is desired.

For odd shaped cushions, we do require a template in order to meet your specifications.

Because custom cushions are custom made for you, please take care in measuring. All custom work is a final sale, backed by our warranty.

We are happy to assist you with designing the perfect futon/block foam cushion. In order to do so, we would need to know the following: overall thickness desired, how it will be used, who will be using it, softness/firmness, natural or synthetic construction preference, type of covering prefered--washable, solid, print, texture, etc. This information will help us best fit you with the appropriate choice. We will help you select the product that best fits your budget and your expectations.

Custom cushions are made from scratch and will take 2-8 weeks to construct.
