| Above the 60th parallel. That's where we find wood strong enough to make our furniture. Here in the cold long winters pine trees grow slowly and develop fewer branches. The wood is stronger and lighter in color, ideal for making FLEXA furniture. Since we are a major consumer of pine, we are very aware of our responsibility to preserve the forest and its inhabitants. Therefore we take care to make our processes as earth friendly as possible. We use only environmentally friendly UV lacquers which do not contain formaldehyde or toxic colorings, but yet protect the furniture for hard wear. All our furniture is designed to meet the highest quality international standards.
