Important Warning About Bunk Beds & Loft Beds
Please read this important safety information if you
are considering the purchase of a bunk or loft bed.
Regardless of manufacturer, please check the
details of that manufacturer's weight limits!
IMPORTANT WARNING ABOUT BUNK BEDS & LOFT BEDS.
PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THE PURCHASE OF A BUNK OR LOFT BED TO HELP PREVENT SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURIES FROM ENTRAPMENT OR FALLS:
Never allow a child under 6 years old on the upper Bunk
Use only a mattress which is 74 - 75" long and 37 1/2 - 38 1/2" wide on the upper bunk
Ensure thickness of mattress and foundation combined does not exceed 8" and surface of mattress is at least 5" below upper edge of guardrails
Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk
If bunk bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrail that runs the full length of the bed and should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and the wall
Prohibit horseplay on or under bed(s) and prohibit jumping on the bed
Prohibit more than one person on upper bunk
Use ladder for entering and leaving upper bunk
Maximum total weight is not to exceed the manufacturer's recommendation, which varies from 170 to 300 pounds on the upper bunk
Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder and other components are in their proper position, free from damage and that all connectors are tight
Do not use substitue parts! Replacement part, including additional guardrails, may be obtained from our customer service department
Use of water or sleep flotation mattresses is prohibited
Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk
STRANGULATION HAZARD - NEVER attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed, for example, but not limited to hooks, belts and jump ropes

There are many reasons why FLEXA has become our number one Children's line over the last three years. As the proprietress of Dream On, I can only summize that one of these reasons is the reality that many of us are down sizing our living situation and utlizing every bit of space in our childrens room. For many, the reason is simple, where we once had dual rooms for our children, we are now housing more children in one room. Others have realized that our Children's room can also function as a guest room for visiting friends and Grand Parents. The Nelly bed sells 9 to 1 over any other bed in our store for parents with toddlers. Its quite simple when parents walk in our door and see the Nelly, its the perfect match for the transitional state from crib to BIG GIRL/BOY bed. As a Mom, myself, I have found that I can stand proud behind the FLEXA line of merchandise and it's concept. This transition from crib to twin size bed can be enjoyable for many, but for some be overwhelming. Flexa has created a line of children's furniture that stimulates your child's imagination and creates a room where all children would enjoy sleeping in. Bedrooms should be a fun, relaxing place for children and Flexa by far has started a trend that makes every child want to sleep in their cozy, safe and, yes, FUN bed.
SAFETY TESTED
FLEXA Furniture is made for children. We have carefully checked every single detail so you can safely set up your child's bedroom. For example, there are NO sharp edges or corners on FLEXA furniture. All beds with a sleeping height of more than 31 inches are safety-tested to the applicable standards and approved by international test institutes. One of the number 1 Reasons we sell more Flexa bunkbeds in our stores is that the standard Bunk is lower in overall height than MANY of the bunks on the market. This allows for younger children, and their parents to feel safer. In addition, keep in mind ceiling heights in your home when making a purchase. Many standard bunks in the market can be over 12" higher than FLEXA'S Bunk bed.
Another point of interest when comparison shopping is the safety rail that comes with all Top bunks from Flexa. Unlike many other manufactures, Flexa's 3/4 safety rail length far surpasses what you will find. In many other brands, the safety rail is a double entry rail (open on both sides) and unacceptable in our stores. This option is yet another way that many manufactures utilize to shave costs.
One last note to consider regarding safety rails: For many of you considering utilizing a bunk for younger children, the lower bunk can accept additional safety rails to secure your little ones. These rails are optional and can later on be removed as your Child Grows.
NATURAL MATERIALS
Flexa's textiles are made of 100% natural materials that are all hypo-allergenic. All textiles and mattresses are OKOTEX labeled, which your guarantee that the products are free of chemicals and other harmful substances. Sure there are other mattress options available in the industry, but please be advised that we strongly recommend FLEXA mattresses for all our beds. Should you opt to utilize a different brand of mattress, please ensure the mattress is NOT THICKER than 7". In the TOP BUNK we recommend a mattress that is 6" or less for the safety of your child.

Quality Wood
To ensure maximum protection of your Flexa Furniture, an either clear or white lacquer has been applied. The lacquer is a surface treatment that might wear over time. This is not a product defect. Flexa furniture is made of solid NORDIC pine and as opposed to products that have a veneer finish, natural differences in the color of pine may occur. Many of our clients have asked how do I touch up the white finish should it become scratched. We have found that white nail polish works wonders.
5 Year Defect Guarantee
Flexa's aim is always to deliver the highest quality and safety. That is why we provide a 5 year guarantee against manufacturing defects on all Flexa furniture. Please be advised that the guarantee does not cover:
Damage to the painted finish by knocks and wear and tear
Holes in wood after removal of guard rails or change in system. (These can easily be filled with wood puddy and no one would know the difference)
Cost to ship item replacement. For those of you that are not local to our store, we can SHIP a replacement to you. However the cost for shipping and handling will not be covered under warrantee. You are more than welcomed to drop by our store to retrieve broken part(s). Should you have paid for delivery and assembly from our store and would like to have the service come to your home to install new replacement part this is an option we offer. However please be advised that this cost is not inclusive of original delivery and setup. Call to arrange house-call if needed. We would be happy to assist you.
5 Year Availability Guarantee
