By now you understand that anything that has cotton in it will compress! Thus, the higher the amount of cotton over foam, the more the mattress will compress. The super light mattresses, in comparison, are made of 6 layers of foam. This results in an extremely light weight futon which is ideal for sofa use and occasional guest sleeping.
