The new generation of cottonless futons requires a new generation of non-slip technology to keep them in proper position on your frame. The Otis Grippers are specifically designed for today's super-resilient, yet lightweight futon mattress. We recommend you use a pair of Otis Grippers --one for the seat section, one for the back section.

The Otis Grippers are designed so that the bottom of the strip adheres to the slats of the futon frame (so it doesn't move). and the top of the strip (made of foam) holds the futon by the resistance created between the foam and the fabric covering the futon.

Hold-It ($12.95)

The Hold-It Non-Slip Pad is designed to keep your cotton-based futon in place on your frame. The rubber mesh (similar to the material you would use under an area rug on a hardwood floor) lays along the seat section of your frame. We recommend that you wrap the ends around to the underside of the slats and staple or tack them in place.
