The Fuji is fully functional as a sofa and bed with or without armrests added on. The accessories are easy to add, remove or change. This feature allows you to customize your frame now and later. The frame is constructed of heavy-gauge metal with grey finish or black finish and it features bowed hardwood slats for flexible support. The frame carries a 10-year warranty. The Fuji frame is made of heavy-gauge metal (your choice of black or grey finish) with arched hardwood slats. The slats are arched for added strength and their flexibility enhances the comfort of the unit as a sofa or a bed.

The frame is European and is designed for a metric-sized mattress (140 cm x 200 cm) which translates into an extra-long full size (54" x 79"). A standard full size is 54" x 75". Two other sizes are available as Custom Orders only. One is 47" x 79" (120 cm x 200 cm) and the other is 55" x 87" (140 cm x 220cm).

The Fuji opens and closes from the front. The frame uses a ratcheted hinge mechanism which is extremely easy to use. In addition to the upright sofa position and the bed position, there is an angled-seating position for lounging.

There is a black fabric storage area integral to the frame underneath the seat of the frame. There is an optional Fuji Frontboard to conceal this on the grey Fuji.
