The Slider is fully functional as a loveseat and bed (with 10-position head elevation) with or without armrests added on. Since this frame is a trifold style, the futon mattress does fold over the back of the frame. The frame is constructed of heavy-gauge metal with your choice of black or grey finish and it features bowed hardwood slats for flexible support. The frame carries a 10-year warranty. The Slider opens and closes from the front and it is extremely easy to use. The Slider rolls forward on wheels to open into a bed. In addition to the upright sofa position and the bed position, there is a lounging feature. When open as a bed, you can elevate the head of the Slider to support you as you recline reading or watching tv, etc.

The accessories are easy to add, remove or change. This feature allows you to customize your Slider now and later. Special accessories for the Slider include a Back Support and a Bedding Box.

The Slider is a veteran design in our line of metal/hardwood frames from Denmark. It is a Trifold style frame, like the Drifter--one of our new designs for 2002! Both the Slider and Drifter are unmatched for ease of conversion from Loveseat to Bed and back again!
What's the difference between the frames?
The Slider is available in a variety of sizes: Mini 32" x 79", XL Full 55" x 79"*, and Queen 63" x 79". Two other sizes of Slider are available for Custom Order only: 47" x 79" and XXL Full 55" x 87." The Drifter is only available in XL Full*. *XLFull frame may be used with Standard Full Futon.
The Slider's seat is a little higher and less deep than that of the Drifter.
The Slider's back is slightly higher than that of the Drifter.
The Slider features an optional Back Support/Headrest; where there is a built-in Back Support/Headrest on the Drifter.
