The Speedking frame is made of heavy-gauge metal (black & grey finish) with arched hardwood slats. The frame is fully functional with or without armrests or other accessories added on to the frame. The slats are arched for added strength and their flexibility enhances the comfort of the unit as a sofa or a bed. The frame carries a 10-year warranty. The Speedking frame is available in one size only: 43" x 79" which is an extra-wide, extra-long twin size. A standard twin size is 39" x 75". The Speedking may be used with a specially constructed foam mattress which is covered in your choice of fabric from our collection. Or the Speedking may be used with a futon mattress.

The Speedking has a back bolster which can be upholstered in your choice of fabrics. The frame has hinged ends which can be folded up to form a loveseat, unfolded to be a daybed, or angled in different combinations to be a chaise lounge. These ends are covered in frame covers which have convenient pockets on the outside. You choose the fabrics for these covers as well.

The Speedking opens and closes from the front. The frame uses a ratcheted hinge mechanism which is extremely easy to use. In addition to the upright sofa position and the bed position, there is an angled-seating position for lounging.

There is a black fabric storage area integral to the frame underneath the seat of the frame.
